Patch in York, the third Patch site to have a set of Georgia Bosson Studio patchwork curtains, the bonding warehouse that houses the newly opened co-working space has beautiful vaulted brick ceilings and a high-level datum line which is part of the flood defences for this building, on the edge of the temperamental river Ouse.

We designed the patchwork element of this curtain to fit with the datum line set by the pre-existing architectural features. The design was taken from brickwork details on the exterior of the building and features three blue panels cut on the bias to create a curtain full of movement and in keeping with the quirks of the building.

The curtains are made from IFR linen-effect fabric and are made with flat felled seams throughout to ensure they can be viewed from both sides without the need for a lining.
