A playful interpretation of a traditional cafe curtain, this wave curtain was designed to soften the strong morning light in the studio, protect the textiles on the walls, and provide a fun privacy solution on quieter days.

The white mesh fabric that forms the top two-thirds of the curtain was chosen to minimise the disturbance to the light in the studio when the curtain is closed.

The colourful section at the bottom of the curtain was inspired by drawings of the rooftops of Olhao. Colourful bias-cut sections of cloth pieced together with flat felled seams create a double-sided curtain reminiscent of Korean Bojagi patchworks.
