Commissioned by Neptune to celebrate the launch of their A/W ‘20 fabric range.

We were inspired by the Neptune founder’s love of sailing and drew from the geometry and movement of sails to create the design.

The design was hand-painted and then realised in a selection of Neptune fabrics, including Harris Tweed and linen. It was quilted with a wool wadding on a longer quilting machine in Dorset, and the stitching took over 13 hours to complete.

Working with Georgia on the bespoke quilt was such an easy – and fun – creative experience. She really took the brief and ran with it, perfectly blending her style and ours – not to mention creating a beautifully-made piece in what was quite a tight timeframe!

The finished quilt is something we were not only proud to photograph for our anthology, Stories, but also something that we’ll treasure as part of our brand’s history for years to come.”
