Haines Quilt | Coral
The Haines quilt - Coral is the second of a pair of quilts designed in collaboration with the Haines Collection. Working with textile remnants from their studio, Georgia Bosson has created two new beautiful quilted runners.
This piece is made from cotton, linen & velvet in teals, creams and coral and has been hand-quilted with a lightweight wool wadding in the centre.
The inspiration for this piece began with Jules & Georgia’s mutual love of stripes; these quilts celebrate stripes across the design, from striped cloth to striped patchwork and quilting.
The curve in the design adds movement to the pieces, and when placed together, they become two halves of a whole reflected image.
We see them in a playful children’s bedroom, as a pair of wall hangings or on the end of a king-size bed.
